Boisramè a podio per il Team Honda-Redmoto in Svizzera

La EMX250 torna in azione nel MXGP di Svizzera, Frauenfeld-Gachnang, dove Mathys Boisramè ottiene il podio dopo una dura battaglia.
Boisramè ha le idee chiare, da subito riesce ad ottenere il miglior tempo sul giro nelle prove di qualifica gruppo A ed il quarto tempo più veloce overall, a bordo della sua Honda CRF250R.
Pioggia intensa durante il weekend di gara, i piloti sono chiamati ad affrontare una pista molto pesante ma con molte linee disponibili.
Boisramè sfrutta a pieno l’ottima posizione ottenuta nelle qualifiche partendo forte in gara 1, impressionante inizio e dopo solo un giro passa subito al secondo posto. Il francese sembra riuscire a contrastare Tristan Charboneau per la vittoria, purtroppo negli ultimi giri accusa un fastidio agli avambracci e dovrà accontentarsi de sesto posto. Il compagno di squadra Forato chiuderà 21 °.
Gara 2 più regolare, Boisramè chiude il primo giro in quinta posizione, per poi recuperare rapidamente ottenendo il quarto posto. Il resto della gara è caratterizzata dalla battaglia per la quarta posizione fra il francese e Jed Beaton (Carglass-Honda Racing) su CRF, ma Boisrame ha la meglio e chiude quarto, risultato sufficiente per aggiudicarsi il terzo gradino del podio.
Il compagno di squadra Forato in gara 2 conduce meglio la gara ottenendo la nona posizione. Con una sola gara alla fine del campionato EMX250, Forato e Boisramè sink rispettivamente al terzo ed al nono posto in classifica generale.
Anche per Alessandro Lupino a bordo del CRF450R, il weekend inizia bene, a ridosso della top ten durante le free practice. Gara di qualifica impressionante con Alessandro nella top ten al decimo posto ed il primo in classifica fra tutti i piloti Honda.
In entrambe le manche Lupino riesce a tenere testa a tutti i piloti factory, più veloce anche di Clement Desalle in gara 2. Lupino ottiene l’ 11 ° posto in gara 1 ed il decimo in gara 2, chidendo così la giornata ad un solo punto dalla top ten di MXGP Svizzera.
Il paddock MXGP ora si sposta rapidamente a Uddevalla, in Svezia per il terzo di tre eventi back-to-back (19-20 agosto), mentre la classe EMX250 gode di una breve pausa prima dell’ultimo round dell’anno a Villars-sous-Écot , Francia (16-17 settembre).

“Il weekend a Frauenfeld in Svizzera, è andato molto bene soprattutto all’inizio con tempi rapidi sul giro. Bene gara 1, dopo la prima curva ero quinto, ma poi ho superato quelli davanti. Ho sofferto parecchio indolenzimento agli avambracci, così ho chiuso solo sesto. Analogo problema in gara 2 ma sono riuscito ad ottenere in quarto posto. non ho preso rischi in quanto avevo ben chiaro che in quella posizione avrei comunque ottenuto il podio. Sono molto felice di questo risultato e voglio ringraziare tutti per questo “.

Alberto Forato
“Questo fine settimana non è stato certo uno dei migliori weekend, purtroppo sin dall’inizio non ho avuto feeling con il tracciato. Soprattutto in gara 1 , il circuito era molto scivoloso a causa della pioggia prima dell’evento. Ma ora voglio guardare avanti alla Francia e vediamo cosa possiamo fare. “

Alessandro Lupino
“Il GP svizzero ancora un ottima prova per me, forse il migliore di quest’anno perché avevo da subito un buon feeling con la moto e anche i risultati sono stati buoni – peccato per la classifica generale solo a un punto dalla top ten. Gara 1 subito davanti, alla prima curva ero terzo, la prima volta per me quest’anno, una sensazione veramente eccitante. Sono veramente felice e positivo per questo fine settimana e la prossima gara in Svezia è su di un circuito molto bello, quindi spero di essere nelle prime dieci posizioni. La nostra condizione e’ ottimale e la top ten resta il nostro obiettivo per il prossimo fine settimana in Svezia”

Alfredo Bevilacqua
“Questo GP ha dimostrato che la squadra sta lavora di molto bene, che i test danno esiti positivi e Alessandro aumenta ad ogni GP il feeling con la moto.
Abbiamo ancora diverse prove prima della fine e sono sicuro che riusciremo a fare altri piccoli passi avanti per risalire la classifica e ristabilire la posizione che mi ero prefissato ad inizio stagione.
Ancora assente Valentin nel “GP di casa”, causa la lunga convalescenza post infortunio alla mano, ma al GP di Francia lo rivedremo in sella per l’ultima prova di Campionato e soprattutto per un breve allenamento in previsione del Mondiale a squadre nel quale è stato convocato per rappresentare la Svizzera.
Grande orgoglio per me in quanto i nostri due piloti saranno i portacolori nelle rispettive squadre nazionali.”

Boisramè on the podium for Team Honda-Redmotoin Switzerland

This weekend saw the EMX250 category back in action at the MXGP of Switzerland, Frauenfeld-Gachnang, where Mathys Boisramè claimed a podium finish despite battling arm pump.
Boisramè made his intentions for the weekend clear after setting the fastest time in his group’s timed practice session, and the fourth fastest time overall, aboard his Honda CRF250R.
Heavy rain in the run-up to the race weekend saw the riders face a hard pack track in prime condition with plenty of lines available to Boisramè and team-mate Alberto Forato.
Boisramè used this to full advantage in the first moto on Saturday evening making an impressive start before moving into second place within the first lap. The Frenchman looked to challenge Tristan Charboneau for the win but unfortunately succumbed to arm pump in the final stages of the race and crossed the line sixth. Meanwhile, team-mate Forato finished 21st.
A steadier start to the second moto on Sunday saw Boisramè close out the first lap in fifth, before rapidly making his way into fourth. The rest of the race saw the Frenchman enjoy a battle for position with fellow CRF rider Jed Beaton (Carglass-Honda Racing), and cross the line fourth, which was enough to see him claim the third step of the podium.
Team-mate Forato had a stronger second moto and at the chequered flag was ninth. With only one event left in the EMX250 championship, Forato and Boisramè currently sit third and ninth respectively in the overall standings.
It was also a strong weekend for Alessandro Lupinoaboard the CRF450R, who was just outside of the top-ten in the free and timed MXGP practice sessions. Followed by a successful qualifying race, which saw the Italian claim the honours as the best-placed Honda rider after finishing tenth.
In both motos Lupino was able to enjoy battles with factory riders throughout, and was able to finish three seconds ahead of Clement Desalle in the second moto. Lupino claimed 11th in race one and tenth in race two, which placed him just one point away from being in the overall top-ten for the MXGP of Switzerland.
The MXGP paddock will now swiftly move to Uddevalla, Sweden for the third of three back-to-back events (19-20 August), while the EMX250 class enjoys a short break before their final round of the year at Villars-sous-Écot, France (16-17 September).

Mathys Boisramè
“The weekend in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, went very well at first with quick times. I made a good start in the first moto and was fourth or fifth in the first corner but then I passed those in front. I was suffering with arm pump, which made it difficult for me and I finish sixth. After that in the second moto I still have pain in my arm but I move up to fourth. I wanted to keep fourth because I knew that I would be on the podium if I finish fourth. I’m very happy to be on the podium and I want to thank everyone for that.”

“This weekend wasn’t the best for me because I don’t have the good feeling with the track. Especially in the first moto the track was very slippery because of the rain before the event. Butnow we look forward to France and we see what we can do there.”

Alessandro Lupino
“The Swiss GP was again a good one for me, and I think maybe was the best of this year because finally I have such a good feeling with the bike and even the results were good – I only miss the overall top-ten by one point I think. The first moto I start at the front, I was third and I was really happy about it and really excited, as it has never happened this year. I’m really happy and positive about thisweekend and the next one in Sweden is again a nice track, so I hope to be in the top ten. We are in the good way so this is the goal for the next weekend in Sweden: the top-ten.”

“This GP has shown that the team is working very well, that the tests give positive results and Alessandro increases the feeling with the bike at every GP.
We still have several trials before the end and I’m sure we will be able to make some further steps forward to go back to the standings and restore the position I set at the beginning of the season.
Still absent Valentin in the “home GP” causes the long recovery after injury to the hand, but at the GP of France we will see him again for the last championship test and especially for a short training in the World Cup in which he is summoned to represent Switzerland.
It is a great pride for me as our two riders will be the bearers in their respective national teams.”
